Located near Kandy, an area with a high concentration of captive elephants, we aim to create and provide a better environment for captive elephants in Sri Lanka. Behind the project is Niroshan’s dream to provide higher care for captive elephants, free from hunger, thirst, pain and disease. The well-being of elephants is central to our project.
Established in 2022, we are currently working on building the required facilities in our homeland. One of our first projects is to build a night/musth enclosure for Saliya, the first (bull) elephant under our care.
